Today we went for a little walk around the Swithland Reservoir. The route starts and ends in Quorn and is roughly 9 km (5.5 miles). It takes you along the Buddon Brook to meet the Great Central Railway briefly before taking you for a walk around the Swithland Reservoir. The route is quite gentle with a few muddy spots along the Brook, so wear something good on your feet! Quorn itself has a few pubs to choose from if you fancy a meal after your walk. We followed the directions from the Quorn Parish Council website and other than missing the turning opposite Elms Drive we had no trouble. You can find my photos from the walk in the gallery.
